March Madness

The Who's

March 8, 2014

Since 2003, Classic Albums Live has earned their reputation of painstakingly recreating, note-for-note, cut-for-cut, some of rock's most influential albums. Now, their group of astoundingly talented, handpicked musicians take the stage to perform in its entirety, The Who's "Who's Next". At the height of their powers, The Who released the greatest album of their career - Who's Next. A classic from start to finish, the songs include "Baba O'Riley", "Bargain", "Getting In Tune", "Going Mobile", "Behind Blue Eyes" and "Won't Get Fooled Again." Arguably one of the best rock bands in history, many more songs from their catalogue will be performed after completion of the album.

About The Who's Who's Next

Who's Next is the fifth studio album by English rock band The Who, released in August 1971. The album has origins in a rock opera conceived by Pete Townshend called Lifehouse. The ambitious, complex project did not come to fruition at the time and instead, many of the songs written for the project were compiled onto Who's Next as a collection of unrelated songs. Who's Next was a critical and commercial success when it was released, and has been certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA.  The album features hit songs "Baba O'Riley," "Won't Get Fooled Again," and "Behind Blue Eyes."

Classic Albums Live takes classic albums and recreates them live,on stage - note for note, cut for cut. Founded in 2003 by Craig Martin, Classic Albums Live has become the ultimate destination for music lovers wanting to hear the greatest albums performed live without all the gimmickry and cheesy impersonations. Relying only on the music, using what Martin refers to as 'the world's best musicians', Classic Albums Live has defined itself as a mainstay in performing arts centers across North America.
