PINOCCHIO SPRINGS TO LIFE AT LA MIRADA THEATRE
The Classic Tale in a Musical for the Whole Family
La Mirada,
CA, November 2, 2005 – La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts brings
“Pinocchio” to life, in a musical production filled with color and
excitement, as part of their Programs for Young Audiences series. American Family Theater returns on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. to present
the classic tale of a tiny wooden boy in search of becoming “real.” Gepetto's
irresistible puppet-son comes to life and travels from a carnival, to
Candyland, to the belly of a whale! A fun filled, hand-clapping musical treat.
Programs
for Young Audiences is designed to give children ages five and up and their
families exposure to a diverse mix of national and international touring stage
acts. La Mirada Theatre’s Executive Director, Jeff
Brown, delights in seeing “…young audiences pouring through the
doors of the theatre. The Programs for
Young Audiences series was created to introduce young people to the stage, and
for many, it is their first experience seeing a live performance.”
Pinocchio
opens a five-show series which includes: “Cinderella” in February,
followed by “The Dream Catchers” in March, “Wizard of Oz” in April and the
season will finish with “Mark Nadler’s Pianomal Crackers!” in May.
Tickets are
